Sometimes, after a longer time of relationship, you might find yourself at the point where you really want to know certain kind of thing about your partner, things that you haven’t talked about yet.  We must admit that men don’t really like to talk, not to mention to talk about their private issues or thoughts.

However, you should always leave these questions for after at least one year of relationship.

Until your relationship is new, under no circumstances should you ask your boyfriend if he wants to get married. The last thing in a young boy’s mind is to get married. Most probably you’ll only scare him away, because he will assume you are already planning to marry him. Nothing good will come out of this question; you will only get an awkward silence, and probably make things worse. Don’t even joke about this matter. Many guys don’t know about jokes when it comes to marriage.

Another question you should safe for later is, if does he want to have children. Deciding to have a child with a certain person is a great deal of love and trust. Don’t assume that just because he likes you, he already wants to have babies with you. They might not say it, but men always look for the good mother in their girlfriends or wives. So you should spend together a certain period of time, before you can convince him that you are the right person to bring up his kids. Again, asking him about children will make him want to run away, or he would feel that you want to tie him down.

It’s quite important, both for you and your partner, to know your place by his side. Don’t ever compare yourself with others, or ex girlfriends because there are quite good chances that you won’t get an honest answer. Don’t ever ask him is you are better than some other person.

Everyone is different, and when it comes to love somebody, you can always love in different ways, and love different things about that person. So it’s quite possible that he might not be able to answer you. Instead, you will appear as an insecure girlfriend, who isn’t sure of her charms and personality and feel inferior to his ex girlfriends. No men like a person like this. So always  think twice before you ask a question, and be sure the answer is really going to help you and not make things worst.

There are times to ask your boyfriend questions. Especially when you are at the begging of your relationship, or at one your  first dates. Take advantage of this period, because it’s the only time when you will have such conversations. It’s time for you to ask almost any question you have in mind, and he will try to answer you. Afterward, you might not even be together, or if the relationship goes further you will have other things in mind, and you’ll find these questions awkward and useless to ask.

Teens like to date, and they can think of a few things what to do, or where to go on a date. But there will still be situations, when you are not at the movies, you are not dancing at the disco, practically you have nothing to do than talk to each other. And this also has its good parts. Everyone needs a few quite moments, when you only focus on each other. So try to know your partner better by asking him questions.

You can even ask questions that seem useless or boring at the time, but remember that every reaction of his is some kind of answer. Even if he doesn’t want to answer a certain kind of question, you can think of some answer of your own.

For example, if he doesn’t want to tell you how many girlfriends he had before you, you can think of a few possibilities. Maybe he had too much, and doesn’t want to admit it, because you wouldn’t trust him anymore; or maybe he hadn’t really had any girlfriends at all and embarrassed to tell you. Another possibility is that he had just got over a long relationship, and doesn’t want to think about ex girlfriends. So ask questions, you will always find an answer and get to know him better. These are just a few examples, but you can ask anything else you can think of. Any information is useful, if helps you in knowing him better. Just don’t get pushy with your questions and if he really likes you, he’ll find the patience to answer you all.
