Communicating with others is normal. We all talk, we all have continuous discussions with others, but talking and keeping a conversation comes naturally. We learn from just a few years how to talk and as we get older this comes without thinking. Some people are more shy and others find it very relaxing to start a conversation out of nothing. It`s a known fact that is much harder to start a conversation with someone you don`t know, than to talk openly with a friend or an acquaintance. The fact that you already know that person, makes things much easier, you can relate to many things when talking. There are many interesting things to talk about but the important thing is to know how to approach people and in the same time the subject. First of all the beginning is rather tricky. Starting with small talk can be an ice breaker. Questions such as „ how are you” what have you done lately” „nice weather” and so on, are things you can start with.




Depending on the person with whom you are talking to, you can approach many interesting subjects such as: art, literature, history, politics, comment on the latest news etc. In order to have an interesting conversation, one has to be informed. You can talk about politics but if you don`t know anything about this subject, you might make a fool out of yourself. So, before a big event where you have to meet people or before a gathering you can watch the latest news, read a newspaper and stay informed.
Interesting things to talk about are not particulary important or of general knowledge. An interesting conversation can be one, where two people have different opinions about a certain subject , like for example the relationship between the same gender. An interesting conversation means that you are interested in the subject, you have your own point of view and you talk for hours because you enjoy the company and the new refreshing ideas.

Talking to someone that has the same hobby as you, can also be considered as a great conversation. Other interesting things to talk about with friends are the latest appearances in technology, wars, movies, music, traveling, exotic locations, money, business and so on. Business men usually talk business and politics. Each age has it`s interesting subjects. For example at 20 years old, teenagers talk about school, parties and girls or boys. At 30 the most interesting conversations are related to work and money.

As a conclusion, what makes something interesting is the fact that you are curious or interested. If you don`t like politics, this subject might seem boring and unnecessary. In the end, interesting is what we each like and prefer. From food, fashion and pets to hobbies anything can be interesting if you are passioned about it.
