Talking on the phone is just like talking face to face but only shorter. Because nowadays everyone has a cell phone, we communicate much easy and much quicker. Cell phones have created a mania, everyone talks on the phone in public, at work, in the car, at the gym and so on. Because phone directories have come up with many offers to attract customers, it`s much cheaper to talk on the phone. People can talk about anything. The main idea when talking on the phone is to say what you need to say and then finish the conversation. Phone conversations have developed greatly and nowadays, people tell their hole lives on the phone.
Couples that are apart, consider the phone their only connection and so , talking on the phone is essential. If they don`t see each other, at least they try to recover through talking and telling what happened during the day. Also, teenagers have made of this phone talk, a real deal. Girls in general need the phone as they need air. Girls talk to their girlfriends about anything. Here are some things to talk about when your on the telephone : hobbies, daily stuff, problems, what happened during the week, food, what did you eat, school, work, family, dreams, wishes etc.

As a conclusion, things to talk about when your on the telephone can come without making a plan before calling. Being totally relaxed, casual, outgoing and willing , can make the other person feel comfortable enough to open up and start talking. A tip is to always start with small talk and then work your way into the subject. A rule of talking on the phone is to never talk very serious or bad things on the phone. People prefer to say the bad stuff face to face. This includes break-ups, deaths and other serious stuff. If we think more about talking on the phone, we can see that on the phone, things might be misunderstood and somebody might be totally confused. It`s important to talk clearly and to make yourself understood.
