Having a career these days is very hard. Men usually are the ones that strive to succeed and women have jobs where they earn just enough to lead an normal life. Women with important status in their job, usually fail in the private life. A woman with a career has chosen from the start this road and, it`s very difficult to be able to succeed in both areas. When you have a career it`s hard to make time for everything, and men are threatened by powerful women. Sometimes, the job you have chose can estrange you from your family. Men that have chosen to work in the military or on ships, are always thinking about their families back home. This job , implies staying away from home for many months, and the military is a dangerous environment. Those that go, assume the risk of never coming home, especially if there is a war.




In order to leave for months to follow your job, you have to be certain that you have a stabile marriage, that your wife won`t cheat or won`t spend all your money. There are many things one should think before choosing this career. For a wife of a deployed husband, the situation is much harder. If there are kids involved, she has to take care of everything. It`s true the money are good, it`s a job that has many advantages, but the married life has to suffer. There are many things to talk about with deployed husband such as : how is it there, what does he do, if he misses home, tell what the kids are doing, sweet talk, remembering old days, or thinking and making plans for when he comes back.

Being away , the husband things more about home and his family than a woman does. The only idea that is haunting both of them is, who is going to cheat? The husband will always suspect her, and she will be sure that he cheats. Being away for 6 months or even a year, can be a good excuse to step on the wrong side . This kind of relationship won`t work, if the couple doesn’t trust each other and if the women is very jealous. This is one of the many things to talk about with deployed husband. If the husband leaves for the first time or if he`s in the beginning, the conversations are more sweet, they miss each other, they talk about sex and love each other over the phone. Some men leave when their wife has to give birth, when she`s pregnant, when something bad has happened. This job, doesn`t care what happens to you, if you are called on duty then you have to be there.

It`s a difficult job, but after a while you get used to all the stress and the feeling of home sick eventually disappears. In the end, in order to have a happy marriage even if you two are apart for months, trust and understanding have to be on the first place.
